Engagement and Payment Policy
Contractor's Licensing Specialists

Upon paying any form of payment or monies to Contractor's Licensing Specialists, hereinafter referred to as "CLS", “client” has contracted the services of CLS and is bound by CLS policy as set forth herein. CLS therefore has been contracted in assisting client to set up their contracting business. The fees for the services offered by CLS are non-refundable.

CLS or its staff cannot guarantee that client will be successful in its business venture and that issuance of a Utah State contractor’s license is solely the decision of the State of Utah, Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing.

If client does not stay in contact with CLS or its staff for a period of 30 days, client’s account/file will become inactive. A $75.00 reactivation fee will be assessed if/when client chooses to reactive their account/file. There is a $25.00 returned check fee.

If client desires to make any changes after initial consultation, there will be a $75.00 amendment fee assessed for each substantial change made, i.e., business entity change, business name change, qualifier change, trade change, etc.

CLS and its staff will not be held responsible for errors, omissions, and/or decisions made by client.

All decisions and advice CLS or its staff make with and on behalf of client will be made in the best interest of client and in good faith and honesty. Any decisions made by CLS or its staff, on behalf of client, are only made with prior approval of client.

The stipulations made herein are agreed upon by both parties by submission of and acceptance of any form of payment and client understands that CLS and client are legally bound by this Agreement, and is fully enforceable according to Utah law.
